You can request deletion of your Quiet Ring account and the personal information associated with it at any time.

Request Account Deletion Without the App

If you cannot access the Quiet Ring application or your account, you can request deletion by contacting us.

Send an email to: info@quietring.us

Use "Account Deletion Request" as the subject of your email.

Please include:

• Your name
• The phone number associated with your Quiet Ring account
• The email address associated with your account, if applicable

What Information Will Be Deleted?

After your account deletion request has been verified and processed, Quiet Ring will delete or de-identify eligible personal information associated with your account.

This may include:

• Account profile information
• Name
• Email address
• Phone number associated with your account
• Profile image, if applicable
• Device and push-notification tokens
• Account preferences
• Quiet Ring QR code/account associations
• Certain QR scan history
• Certain call and communication history
• Authentication information
• Other eligible personal information associated with your account

What Happens to My Quiet Ring QR Codes?

If you have Quiet Ring QR codes or physical Quiet Ring tags associated with your account, deleting your account may deactivate or remove the association between those QR codes and your account.

After deletion, people scanning a deactivated QR code may no longer be able to contact you through Quiet Ring.

You are not required to return or destroy a physical Quiet Ring tag, but its associated digital functionality may no longer be available after account deletion.

Information We May Retain

Some information may be retained when reasonably necessary or required for:

• Compliance with legal obligations
• Fraud prevention
• Security and abuse prevention
• Resolving disputes
• Financial and transaction records
• Tax and accounting requirements
• Enforcing our Terms and Conditions
• Protecting Quiet Ring and its users

Where appropriate, retained information may be anonymized or de-identified.

How Long Does Account Deletion Take?

Once your identity and deletion request have been verified, Quiet Ring will begin processing your request.

We aim to complete eligible account and personal-data deletion requests within 30 days, unless a longer period is permitted or required by applicable law.

Some information may temporarily remain in encrypted backups and disaster-recovery systems until those backups are overwritten or deleted according to our retention procedures.

What Happens After Account Deletion?

Account deletion is intended to be permanent. After your account has been deleted:

• You may no longer be able to sign in to your Quiet Ring account.
• QR codes associated with your account may stop working.
• People scanning deactivated QR codes may no longer be able to contact you.
• Your account preferences may be permanently removed.
• Your eligible call and QR activity may no longer be accessible.
• Your push-notification registration will be removed where applicable.

If you decide to use Quiet Ring again, you may need to create a new account and activate or obtain new Quiet Ring products.

Subscriptions

If you purchased a Quiet Ring subscription through Apple's App Store or Google Play, you should cancel the subscription through your Apple or Google account.

Uninstalling the Quiet Ring application also does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

Delete Specific Data Without Deleting Your Account

Where available and required by applicable law, you may request deletion of certain personal information without deleting your entire Quiet Ring account.

Email info@quietring.us with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and identify the information you would like us to delete.

We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. Certain information cannot be deleted while maintaining an active account when that information is necessary to provide Quiet Ring functionality.
