Welcome to Quiet Ring. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Quiet Ring mobile application, website, communication features, SMS notifications, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By creating an account, accessing, or using Quiet Ring, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Services.

1. About Quiet Ring

Quiet Ring is a communication platform designed to help users connect and communicate through features that may include internet-based calling, incoming call notifications, account verification, contact-based communication, push notifications, SMS notifications, and related communication services.

Features may change, be added, or be removed as the Services evolve.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally permitted to use the Services under the laws applicable to you.

By creating a Quiet Ring account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the mobile phone number, email address, and other information associated with your account.

You are responsible for keeping your account information current and for maintaining the security of your account.

3. Account Registration

Certain Quiet Ring features may require you to create an account and provide information such as:

The availability and quality of these features may depend on your device, operating system, internet connection, mobile carrier, geographic location, and third-party service providers.

Quiet Ring does not guarantee that every communication, call, message, or notification will be delivered without interruption or delay.

5. SMS Messaging Terms

By providing your mobile phone number and expressly opting in to Quiet Ring SMS communications, you agree to receive SMS or text messages from Quiet Ring at the mobile number you provide.

Messages may include:

  • Account verification messages;

  • One-time passwords or authentication codes;

  • Security notifications;

  • Call-related notifications;

  • Account notifications;

  • Service updates; and

  • Other transactional communications related to your use of Quiet Ring.

Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.

Your mobile carrier may charge you for sending or receiving text messages according to your mobile service plan.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

6. SMS Opt-Out

You may opt out of Quiet Ring SMS messages at any time by replying:

After receiving your STOP request, Quiet Ring may send a confirmation message indicating that you have been unsubscribed.

After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS messages covered by that subscription unless you subsequently provide consent again.

7. SMS Delivery

Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

SMS delivery may be affected by factors outside Quiet Ring's control, including carrier availability, network conditions, device configuration, geographic restrictions, and third-party messaging providers.

Quiet Ring does not guarantee that SMS messages will always be delivered within a particular period of time.

8. Push Notifications

Quiet Ring may use push notifications to provide incoming call alerts, account updates, security notifications, service information, and other communications.

You can manage push notification permissions through your mobile device settings.

Disabling push notifications may affect certain functionality of Quiet Ring, including your ability to receive timely incoming call notifications.

9. Contacts and Device Permissions

Some Quiet Ring functionality may require permission to access certain device capabilities, such as:

  • Contacts;

  • Notifications;

  • Microphone;

  • Camera;

  • Network connectivity; and

  • Other permissions necessary to provide communication functionality.

Quiet Ring will request applicable device permissions before accessing protected device functionality.

You may manage these permissions through your device settings. Disabling certain permissions may prevent some Quiet Ring features from functioning correctly.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Quiet Ring to:

  • Violate applicable laws or regulations;

  • Harass, threaten, abuse, or impersonate another person;

  • Send spam or unsolicited communications;

  • Commit or facilitate fraud;

  • Distribute malicious software or harmful content;

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another account or system;

  • Interfere with the security or operation of Quiet Ring;

  • Use automated systems to abuse the Services;

  • Violate the privacy or intellectual property rights of others; or

  • Use Quiet Ring for unlawful, deceptive, or abusive communications.

Quiet Ring may restrict or terminate access to the Services when it reasonably determines that an account is being used in violation of these Terms.

11. Privacy

Your use of Quiet Ring is also subject to the Quiet Ring Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains how Quiet Ring may collect, use, store, and protect personal information associated with the Services.

12. Third-Party Services

Quiet Ring is not responsible for outages or failures caused solely by third-party networks, telecommunications carriers, internet providers, or other services outside Quiet Ring's reasonable control.

13. Intellectual Property

Quiet Ring and its associated software, designs, trademarks, logos, interfaces, content, and technology are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except where expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, license, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from Quiet Ring or its proprietary components.

14. Service Availability

Quiet Ring may modify, suspend, update, or discontinue portions of the Services from time to time.

We may also perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect service availability.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or continuous availability of the Services.

15. Emergency Communications

Unless Quiet Ring expressly states otherwise, Quiet Ring is not a replacement for your mobile telephone service and should not be relied upon for emergency communications.

Do not rely on Quiet Ring to contact emergency services such as 911 or other local emergency numbers.

Use your regular telephone service or another appropriate method to contact emergency services.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Quiet Ring is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

Quiet Ring does not warrant that the Services will always be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or available on every device, network, or geographic location.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Quiet Ring and its owners, operators, affiliates, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Services.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

18. Account Suspension or Termination

Quiet Ring may suspend or terminate an account when reasonably necessary to protect users, prevent fraud or abuse, comply with legal requirements, protect the Services, or enforce these Terms.

You may stop using Quiet Ring at any time.

Where account deletion functionality is available, you may request deletion of your account subject to applicable legal, security, and record-retention requirements.

19. Changes to These Terms

Quiet Ring may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to the Services, legal requirements, security practices, or business operations.

When material changes are made, the updated Terms will include a revised "Last Updated" date and, where required, additional notice may be provided.

Continued use of Quiet Ring after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the entity operating Quiet Ring, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws that may apply based on your location.
